Welcome to the Kelly Creek Flycasters

We are a local fly fishing club based in the beautiful Lewiston-Clarkston Valley.
Our membership ranges from those just starting out, to those that are "well seasoned".
Please take a moment to explore our website, to see what we are about.
We would love to have you join us at one of our monthly meetings, or at one of our many events.

Our Mission:

To promote catch-and-release fly fishing and the wise use of our fisheries resources by education.

To provide assistance, education and friendship to fly fishers, outdoor enthusiasts and the community.

To educate members and the community in the best practices of fly fishing and fly tying.

To be a voice for fly fishers, act as liaison with other organizations.

Provide a meeting place to share information and ideas and meet others who share a passion for wild fish and their waters.

Join us for our General Club meeting on January 14thEric Crawford, the North Idaho Field Coordinator with Trout Unlimited, will present "The Last Best Place for Recovery", a summary of Idaho's steelhead population and how to be a good advocate for Idaho's salmon and steelhead.  Eric is a member of Trout Unlimited's Angler Conservation Project (ACP).  The ACP works to protect cold water fisheries and their watersheds through enhanced public lands protections and sportsman engagement.  Eric is currently working on Trout Unlimited's dedication to restoring and maintaining Abundant, Resilient and Self-Sustaining wild salmon and steelhead populations of the Snake River Basin, with a goal of providing angler opportunities of restricted harvest for wild salmon and steelhead, while maintaining a strong economy centered around salmon and steelhead that local and regional businesses can rely on.  Eric will review the current status of Idaho steelhead and the issues affecting their recovery and discuss opportunities for engagement.
