Woman's Fly Fishing Clinic - For Women and taught by women!
If you have ever wanted to learn to fly fish but have not learned as of yet, Kelly Creek Flycasters has the solution for you. The course is for women and taught by women. It features a combination of casting instruction along with classroom sessions on the different aspects of fly fishing including:
Fly fishing equipment and clothes
Entomology (what bugs fish eat)
Flys (to imitate those bugs and more)
Reading the Water (Where fish are likely to be)
Following 3 weeks of one night per week casting and classrooms instruction, you will have a chance to try out your new found skills on the water when you attend the weekend camping / fishing trip at Washington Creek campground on the North Fork of the Clearwater River. You will fish with a mentor who will help you put into practice your new found skills and hopefully catch your first fish on a fly!
